Winter.. romantic or lonely

One last cry by Brian McKnight is a nice but sad song.. and its worse coupled with the winter cold as one sits alone in the bedroom..while the cold wind outside beats against the glass pane of the bedroom window..

some say the winter is romantic..i guess this is when u have that special someone to warm your heart.. for the rest of us..i guess it makes the lonely feel lonelier.. and in the night.. everyone will shed their armour and show their true self more honestly.. i guess i am talking about myself only.. since its my blog my private online diary i share only with friends i am not afraid of. People who i do not think will judge me and people who i can trust.

so cold winter + night + sad song= a very depressing time..
but something soothing about this, is that at least its not as tiring as being tough and hard all the time in the day, which is mentally exhausting and emotionally draining. sometimes it feels good to just be weak and vulnerable... is this a problem faced by many city dwellers? Facing all the harsh concrete in this modern fast paced society, where its all about the money and the speed, of social and status.

is there a possibility of total abandonment of all feelings, emotions, worldy possessions and image? are monks and nuns considered people in the category of total abandonment?
If in total abandonment is there any meaning left to life? In life, must it always be a constant search for something or constant pursuit of something?

it feels lonely
